At a time when the redevelopment of urban wasteland is a priority, robust methods for estimating uncertainties exist to better manage the risks associated with soil pollution. Yet these tools are largely under-exploited.
At the next Lambda Mu conference, Sylvain Girard will be presenting the initial results of the POLIVAL project. With our partners eOde: geostatistics, statistics, GIS, modeling, polluted sites, urban soils and Cloud Spotting, and the support of ADEME, we conducted a survey of specialists in the management of polluted sites and soils in the spring of 2024.Using an iterative design thinking approach, we formulated and tested six gaps (in the sense of actor-network theory) in the decision-making process. These will be our starting point for the rest of the project.
