Context
Use digital fluid mechanics to determine the temperature field at the outer casing of the conduit.
Results
- Finite element modelling of fluid and solid volumes;
- Definition of the thermal conductivities of materials as a function of temperature;
- Definition of the thermal conductivities between parts at contact points;
- Taking into account the natural convection created by the heating of ambient air on contact with the outer skin of the duct
- Carrying out a stationary thermal analysis using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculations;
