Under the guidance of Jean Marc CREPEL, NAFEMS France organized a very insightful day yesterday on the theme of numerical simulation serving decarbonized energies.
It was an opportunity to attend two inspiring keynotes: one by Catherine DEVIC on EDF’s vision of upcoming challenges, and another by Paul Pergler on the simulation of a floating wind turbine.
Céline Devémy presented the combined contribution of testing and computation for assessing the seismic resistance of nuclear equipment.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Malleron and Thierry Yalamas presented the joint support offering from Simvia and PHIMECA aimed at overcoming barriers to the adoption of open-source tools.
All in all, a great day!
